I forgot I ever did this. Glad to see the internet hasn’t fully discovered it yet. Still, 107 views isn’t too bad for my standards of wanting to be noticed.

I feel like this is a forgotten song in the SoCo catalog. Still one of my absolute favorites.
Dust always seems to find my eyes every time I listen to this song.

Traditionally Valentine’s Day is a day for those with a significant other in their lives, but today, I’m taking it back for the rest of the world who’s been dumped (whether recently or not). Ok, well, honestly I just thought it would be nice to compile some of my favorite songs about the end of relationships because well, who doesn’t love a good break up song, amirite? Anyway, V-Day is a made-up Hallmark holiday so, why care so much?

Jack’s Mannequin - “There, There Katie”
Finally, a studio version of this song! So wonderfully beautiful. My pre-order of the Dear Jack movie hasn’t come in yet, though. I hope it comes today. I have my tissues at the ready!
So, I was perusing the interwebz and came across the lyrics for “If U C Jordan” over at SongMeanings.net and I noticed this on the last page of the comments:
“The song is about Jordan Pundik from New Found Glory. Im almost positive. The two used to be roommates, and the references to the Jordan in the song would fit with Jordan Pundik; in addition there are a couple of New Found Glory references also found on ‘Leaving Through the Window’ (I Want to Save You).”
I would definitely like to know where this kid got his information because this is untrue. Yes, Andrew and Jordan were roommates, but do a little searching and you’ll find that this song is not about the NFG frontman. Silly kids, this is how rumors start and people get hurt.
Anyway, I’m sure most people don’t care by now (especially since it’s been about 8 or 9 years since the song was written), but I just thought it was funny.
