Brooklyn Edge (urbaninja88) - Gee (English Acoustic Version)
Lyrics:
Always on my mind I’m always thinking of you
Boy you know I love you always will do
Gee gee gee baby baby baby
Gee gee gee baby baby baby
Your smile your lips your kiss I always reminisce
Any road’ll lead me straight back to you
Gee gee gee baby baby baby
Gee gee gee baby baby baby
Heart is trembling
Baby you know
You’re my everything
That’s the way that love goes
And I know I’ll never love nobody like I love you
Things’ll never ever be the same
And my heart will always call your name
Babo
How did I let me get this way
Boy you told me, told me, there’s no other
No no no no no
When you hold me, hold me, to you I’m like
Oh oh oh oh oh
Now it’s all I, all I, think about like
Gee gee gee gee gee
This is not me, oh yeah
Oh boy you got me, oh yeah yeah yeah
Such a pretty boy I’ve never seen before
You know you had me at hello
Gee gee gee baby baby baby
Gee gee gee baby baby baby
Hotter than the best and cooler than the rest
You just say the word and I will go
Gee gee gee baby baby baby
Gee gee gee baby baby baby
I’m a little child
When I see you
Pulling me your smile
Do the things that you do
I’m addicted to you and now you got me wanting more
How’d I turn into this crazy mess
Full of love and hope and happiness
Babo
I’m such a fool for loving you
Boy you told me, told me, there’s no other
No no no no no
When you hold me, hold me, to you I’m like
Oh oh oh oh oh
Now it’s all I, all I, think about like
Gee gee gee gee gee
This is not me, oh yeah
Oh boy you got me, oh yeah yeah yeah
Am I living a dream
Is it all as it seems
Ooh woo ooh woo yeah
Telling me I’m the only one
You’re in love, all is said and done
With a pinch I wake and find that this is truly all for real
Boy you told me, told me, there’s no other
No no no no no
When you hold me, hold me, to you I’m like
Oh oh oh oh oh
Now it’s all I, all I, think about like
Gee gee gee gee gee
This is not me, oh yeah
Oh boy you got me, oh yeah yeah yeahSo far, this is the best cover <3 I love her voice :) She reminds me of Sade Adu.
MAE - “Giving it Away” (Acoustic)
I miss when MAE moved me with their music. Signing to a major label ruined them; well, that and the fact that David Elkins wanted to write an album that reminded him of all the alternative bands he loved in the ’90s. Newsflash, dude, the ’90s blew in terms of music. Sure, some great novelty bands were born, but as far as substance and artistry, the ’90s brought very little worth listening to. But i digress. Anyhoo, MAE’s first two albums still bring me to an emotional mess and suppose they will have to do.
Daphne Loves Derby - “Simple, Starving to be Safe”
I’ve been in a HUGE Daphne Loves Derby mood today. There’s something about Kenny Choi’s voice that I find soothing. I absolutely adore all of the band’s albums, and well, pretty much anything else they’ve ever released. They just put of a new song on their myspace, (http://www.myspace.com/daphnelovesderby) so you should check that out, too! Hopefully a new album will follow soon???
